ATAT members, Officers, and Board Members are expected to set the standard for proper ethical, legal, and professional conduct.
These are to include but are not limited to:
1. I shall conduct myself as a professional in dress, communication and all other activities while serving in my role as agricultural science teacher.
2. I shall conduct my financial dealings in a legal and ethical way.
3. I shall be proud of my profession and promote agriculture education in a positive way.
4. I shall work to grow and develop in my profession.
5. I shall work in harmony with school and community officials and take an active role in supporting activities in my school and community.
6. I shall follow rules and ethical guidelines concerning all FFA Events including competitive events, validation, and stock shows.
7. I shall foster proper relationships with fellow teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
8. I shall be patient, honest and fair in my dealing and treat others with dignity and respect.
9. I shall comply with state regulations, written local school board policies and other state and federal laws.
10. I shall give of myself so that each of my students may be inspired to make his or her future life fuller and more productive and that each student has equal opportunity to succeed.
