ATAT Conference 2021 Know-Before-You-Go      

We are looking forward to seeing you in Corpus Christi next week and are sharing the most important “need to know” info before you arrive. Keep this email flagged for quick reference should you need it.

Monday Workshops
If you have registered for a Monday workshop and do not have a balance due you will receive a ticket via email on Friday, July 16.  You can also find the ticket on your ATAT Account. Print the ticket or have it on your phone to show the presenter. On Monday, go directly to the room assigned for your workshop. If you have a balance due, you will receive an email this week giving you the option of paying or submitting a “check in the mail” form.  After completing this step, you will receive your ticket via email or will be able to find it on your account.

Registration **New Location This Year**
This year all teachers will pick up their registration materials in the 100 Hallway on the first floor of the American Bank Center. Credentials will be needed to access the General Session and Area Meetings on Tuesday and workshops on Wednesday and Thursday, so be sure to make your Area Table your first stop when you arrive.
 
Registration Hours
Monday, July 19: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Tuesday, July 20: 7:00am – 8:15am

After 8:15 on Tuesday morning, Registration materials will be at the Main Registration Desk in the Grand Lobby.

Remember, you can log in and designate that the check is in the mail or bring a check with you if desired.  Any check payments brought to the conference will be accepted at the Main Registration Desk in the Grand Lobby.
 
Parking at the Center
Parking at the American Bank Center is free for ATAT Conference Attendees. No parking pass is needed.
 
Conference App
Log into the conference app before you arrive at Conference. This is how you will check-in to workshops to get your CE credit, review the on-site schedule, locate exhibitors, and much more. The app can be accessed on your smartphone by visiting https://m.texasagteachers.org.
 
COVID-19 Protocol and Masks
Masks are optional and may be worn by both attendees and staff as desired.  All attendees should self-screen before arriving at Conference each day.  Any person who exhibits COVID-like symptoms, or feels ill in any way, should not enter the Center.
 
Guest Registration **New This Year**
This year all guests coming to the American Bank Center during the week must be registered. Many of you have already registered your guests. Thank you so much for embracing that new addition to registration.
 
All Guests should check in at the Guest Registration Booth in the Grand Lobby upon arrival.  Guests who have not been pre-registered can complete their registration at that time. All Guests, pre-registered and registering onsite, will complete a waiver at the Guest Registration Booth and receive their credentials. Spouses, children, and caregivers should all be registered.
 
Award recipients will pick up their credentials at the Guest Registration Booth.
 
Presenter Check-In **New This Year**
Presenters should report to the Presenter Check-In Booth in the Grand Lobby at least 30 minutes prior to their workshop time to pick up their presenter information which includes their workshop’s Check-In Code.
 
Area Meetings **New This Year**
Area Meeting times have been adjusted this year. Meeting locations can be found in the conference app.
 
11:00am – 1:30pm: Areas I, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11
2:00pm – 4:30pm:  Areas 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 12
 
Family Room
Room 103 is available for nursing mothers and caregivers.
 
Lunches **New This Year**
Boxed lunches will be served in the 100 Hallway on Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Taste of Texas will not occur, so please make other plans for lunch on Tuesday.
