Frequently Asked Questions for 2021 Conference      


Is registration still open?  Can I see all the sessions virtually

Registration will remain open until through conference.  When you register,  you will be asked to choose ‘In Person’, ‘Virtual’ or ‘Undecided’.  If you attend virtually, you will be able  to view workshops beginning on Monday of Conference week.  We will have a live feed of the Opening Session available through the membership system, and we will record a few of the workshops as they occur onsite,  like the Roundtable discussion by the Team Ag Ed Directors, for you to view during the week and they will be live through our workshop system

Are guests and family members welcome?

Any family members or award winners will be asked to register as a guest if they will be onsite during the week.  We will be asking guests to sign our covid waiver just like our members and exhibitors will be doing.

When will Area Meetings be held?

Area meetings will be held on Tuesday, July 20 after the General Session. In order to facilitate the live zooms occurring during each meeting we will run two rounds of area meetings.

We will have an Exhibit Hall?

Yes, a live exhibit show will be held.  Exhibitor registration has been open and we currently have over 70 exhibits registered..  We will post a list of exhibitors at a future date.   The Exhibit Show will be open Monday 10 a.m - 5 p.m, Tuesday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Thursday 8 a.m. -12 p.m.  

When will a list of workshops be posted?

We have had a very positive response to our workshop proposal invitation, and we are working to ensure we have a variety of workshops for both in-person attendees and virtual attendees. A complete list of workshops will be posted by June 21st. Most workshops will be 1 hour in length, with a few that are 30 minutes long.  

Will meals be served each day at the Conference?

Monday workshops will include a boxed lunch. Taste of Texas will not be held this year due to current meal serving restrictions. Also due to the Area Meeting schedule, we will not be serving lunch onsite on Tuesday. Café Ventures will serve lunches on Wednesday and Thursday. We are working on a plan to serve a Fajita Meal for Family Night in a safe manner. 

Are there any special health protocols at the American Bank Center ?

We are in constant contact with the Center to determine the health and safety protocols that will be enforced for our Conference. Currently we are at 100% capacity and face masks are not required. 

How will Family Night operate?

Family night will be done as normal with less seating per table. We will recognize our Hall of Fame inductees and the Texas Auctioneer Association will auction some items that will have the proceeds go to our Scholarship Fund

Will there be any Scholarship Fundraisers?

The Golf Tournament will be held at Oso Golf Course in Corpus Christi on Monday. Click here to enter  A Corn Hole Tournament during Family Night is happening.  $20 per team entry with up to 16 teams competing.
